About
Lexi acts as counsel, arbitrator, and mediator, specializing in complex international disputes. She represents clients in arbitration and litigation matters in the U.S. and internationally and advises clients on a range of public international law and private commercial issues.
Lexi’s clients and peers say that she “understands the needs of her clients and delivers to them,” “is reliable, dedicated, and hardworking,” and is “an excellent arbitrator.”
Before starting her own practice in 2022, Lexi was a senior member of the international disputes team at a major global law firm, where she was based in New York, Tokyo, and Singapore. She now brings that experience to her solo practice, providing clients with top-tier service for excellent value and flexibility. For large matters, Lexi routinely collaborates with other law firms and lawyers to provide bespoke expertise and staffing.
Lexi’s clients include both large multinational corporations and small-to-medium-sized businesses facing international issues. Lexi finds it particularly fulfilling helping businesses in her home state of Oregon (where she is now based) navigate international disputes and legal issues, including by drawing on her extensive global network (particularly in Asia) and expertise.
Lexi is a member of the Reserve Panel of Arbitrators for the Singapore International Arbitration Centre and an adjunct professor of International Commercial and Investor-State Arbitration at Vanderbilt University Law School. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar’s International Law Section.
Lexi has been recognized by both Who’s Who Legal / Lexology Index as a Future Leader in International Arbitration and Legal 500 as part of its Arbitration Powerlist for Southeast Asia for multiple consecutive years. She is widely published on international arbitration and investment law matters and regularly speaks and conducts trainings on international dispute resolution topics.
Lexi also maintains an active pro bono practice and serves as a volunteer mediator for the Multnomah County Circuit Small Claims Court.
Lexi is qualified to practice in New York and Oregon.
